De haatbaard, Ammar Shahin, vroeg in zijn gebed om de vernietiging van de Joden, als vergelding voor het 'ontheiligen' van de al-Aksa moskee. Wat hij zei:
“Allah does not change the situation of people 'until they change their own situation.' The Prophet Muhammad said: ‘Judgment Day will not come until the Muslims fight the Jews, and the Jews hide behind stones and trees,”
En dit:
“Oh Allah, liberate the Al-Aqsa Mosque from the filth of the Jews. Oh Allah, destroy those who closed the Al-Aqsa Mosque. Oh Allah, show us the black day that You inflict upon them, and the wonders of Your ability. Oh Allah, count them one by one and annihilate them down to the very last one. Do not spare any of them.”

“I said things that were hurtful to Jews. This was unacceptable,” Ammar Shahin of Davis, California, said at a press conference Friday, according to a statement by the Anti-Defamation League, which welcomed the apology. “I am deeply sorry for the pain I have caused. The last thing that I would do is intentionally hurt anyone, Muslim, Jewish or otherwise. It is not in my heart.”
Heel slim geformuleerd van de imam. Hij heeft namelijk niet letterlijk opgeroepen om Joden te vernietigen. Maar ondertussen...

nou, we zijn onder de indruk hoor. Geweldig bedankt! Goed om te weten dat je natuurlijk niets meende van je walgelijke preek en gebed in die gekke moskee daar in Californië. Het was een act. Een beetje profetie hier en daar. Je weet het wel. Makkelijk trouwens hè, dat je zo via Allah van alles en nog wat kan uitkramen. Slimme jongen ben je.
O ja, wat bedoelde je nou precies met die laatste zin: Oh Allah, make this happen by our hands, let us play a part in this? Dat vond ik wel een beetje apart, zeg maar.
