Gaat het Westen samenwerken met Hezbollah, Iran?
En dus met Assad?
Israel, Sunni world wary of any Western rapprochement with Iran; Israeli expert says West is helpless, doesn't know what to do against Islamic State... US attacks on the Sunni Islamic State in Iraq and its cooperation and arming of the ruling Shiite government there is the latest signal that the West is moving toward an arrangement with the Shiite Iranian axis, which includes Hezbollah, Iraq and Syria. Such an alignment has been feared by the Sunni world and Israel for some time.
Misschien is dit een wat gekke vraag, maar waarom opent het Westen niet gewoon massaal de aanval op ISIS. Een combinatie van Amerika en Europese landen zou de militaire capaciteiten van die organisatie in weinig tot geen tijd vernietigen.
Er 'moet' alleen worden samengewerkt met Assad, Iran en Hezbollah als het Westen het bij kleinschalige aanvallen wil houden.
